An excellent stay at The Carlton
This is our 5th visit and it was wonderful. The room was clean and very comfortable. The food was excellent and so were the staff. Thank you for another lovely stay, we have already booked for September. We would like to thank Mike and Penny at reception and Tony and Paul behind the bar and last but not least Rui our waiter. See you all in September.

Just Great
Have been back from the Carlton Hotel for 2 weeks and we enjoyed it so much we are going back again next week!! A lovely, warm and welcoming hotel, excellent location, great staff, superb food, absolutely nothing about the whole experience not to like, will definitely return again and again. Have been to many of Shearings Hotels since retiring but this has got to be the very best. Superb!!

Enjoyable stay at the Carlton
We had a very enjoyable stay at the Carlton Hotel through National Holidays it was a five day break. The entertainment was excellent. The food was good the only drawback was the waitresses were run off their feet. Personally I felt there should have been more staff for the amount tables they had to serve. But apart from that the staff were friendly and very helpful. The bedrooms were clean and quite comfortable. The rest of the public areas of the hotel were very comfortable.

Reasonable
We have just come back from the Carlton. As far as hotels go we found it ok but as someone else says they could do with more staff in the dining room. Our room was very good and the meals were enjoyable. The evening entertainment was ok but the rules on free drinking were rather restrictive. The staff though could not be faulted. They were brilliant. I was concerned though that I saw no disabled facilities and the smoking arrangements were horrible. I am sorry to say we won't be returning.

I Wille Be Back
Just returned from our third Shearing Holiday at the Carlton Hotel Great Yarmouth. My wife and I were very impressed with all the facilities. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good entertainment, great location and excellent food. I would like to give a special thanks to Mike for his great knowledge of the area, and being a great driver, as we’ve found all the Shearing drivers to be. Looking forward to my next Shearing Holiday. Thanks Again.
