My stay at The Golden Lion Hotel
My stay in Hunstanton in August 2010 for 5 days/4 night, was extra special due to the welcoming of this hotel. Everything about our stay was excellent, lovely, friendly staff and very good varied menus for dinner. Good Bus Service (CoastHopper) taking you right up to Cromer and back (passing Wells by the Sea, Burnham Market, Cley, Sherringham etc). My Mum and I had an enjoyable and active week. Great value for money. Lots of local places of interest to visit i.e. Sandringham House. Thank You!

My week-end break at The Golden Lion
Having just spent a relaxing 3 day break with my wife. The hotel is in an excellent location with lovely views of the sea and promenade. The dining room overlooks the sea and is on the small side which I liked. The downside is that the evening meal has to be split into several sittings. The food was good and in line with the value-for-money cost of the week-end break. The staff were pleasant and helpful as one expects. I would definitely recommend it for a nice quiet break by the sea.

Our Week-End break at The Golden Lion
Had read some poor Reviews on the Golden Lion-but I have to say that my Wife and I found the experience to be very good. The Staff were ALL polite helpful and gave us excellent service. The food was good for the price we paid-the Hotel is in the centre of the Town overlooking the sea. We would certainly return again to explore the area as the weather was not at its best during out stay. Well done to all Staff.
