Good Weekend

We stayed at the Tarbet Hotel 23rd September 2011 for 2 nights. The staff, food & entertainment were great. Rooms were very clean the only down side is the room decor that seems to be in the 1970's. There was no shower in the bathroom which was a bit of a problem. I would certainly stay again and maybe upgrade the room.

A Little Put Out With Bar

Surely you could have told your guests about bar being closed. The upgrade caused problems for your first class manager and his team' who handled the flack 'and worked hard to keep everyone happy. That’s my moan ' nice clean and comfy bedroom' food was very good. The hotel is in a beautiful location. 3 stars when it should have been 5. Still fantastic value for money.

Tarbet Hotel - Loch Lomond

The 5 day Monday to Friday holiday was brilliant for the money we paid. The hotel catered extremely well for a client with a gluten-free diet. Although the bar area was being re-furbished, the staff catered well by using the dining room as the entertainment area too. Praise to the Manager for doing such a good job.

Short Break

What a stay we had it was great. myself; wife; sister and her husband stayed here for 3 nights Friday 9th December the food was fantastic rooms were clean as was all other guest areas I can’t praise the hotels staff for their total commitment to everyone, even though the hotel was having a lot of work done when we were there. Well done to all of the staff as I was a bit weary after reading some bad reviews on trip adviser. Will stay again.

Just to say thanks to all at the Tarbet Hotel for a memorable stay. With a long history, the Hotel has bags of character, rooms were warm and well equipped, food was good. And incredible value! Best of all was the wonderful staff that couldn't do enough to make us happy. As a party of 14 people you made our stay memorable. Thanks to Gary, the manager, and all his staff.

Best Value for Money / Greatest Staff

This has to be the best value for money available. The views from the loch View rooms are worth the bit extra. Rooms always very clean, food always excellent and the staff are the most welcoming and hard working you will find! The asst. manager Gary is an angel, nothing is ever too much trouble and Davie always cheers up my morning. There are too many hard working staff to mention. Our thanks to you all!!!! xxx
