Often our most luxurious room option. Most premier rooms have four-poster beds and spacious en suite bathrooms that have been beautifully re-fitted to accommodate both bath and shower options. These large rooms will normally offer a comfortable seating area, 32 inch flat screen digital television, hairdryer and the facilities to make a hot beverage.
Our Superior rooms typically have luxurious beds, 26 inch flat screen digital television, and a spacious en-suite bathroom with shower over bath. These Superior rooms also have the facilities to make a hot beverage.
Our Standard Rooms are charming and have everything you would expect from a modern hotel - private facilities, a TV and everything you need to make yourself a hot beverage.

My Wife and I enjoyed our 4 night stay at this hotel. The "standard" room was the best we have had to-date in any of the Shearing Hotels in terms of its condition and room facilities. The choice of food was good and the service excellent. The only disappointment was that the room used for the entertainment was inappropriate for the entertainment offer.

Had a good weekend walking in the local area. Staff, room and food excellent. Only problem was every time staff went out the back entrance the door banged and we were above. As staff were still using this door at midnight to go to their quarters it was a bit annoying and the same applied coming in to work early morning. If the banging was stopped it would have got 5 stars.

Had a fabulous 4 days. Room spotless. Dining room staff are very helpful and will alter meals to your taste. Entertainment room is not big enough to cater for 2 coaches. But this was the only fault I could find. Carlos (manger) and Jane his assistant are always ready to talk, no matter how busy they are.

Had an enjoyable 3 night stay at this lovely old charm hotel. Room a little dark but cleanliness ,warmth and comfort spot on. Food super and service excellent. Nothing was too much bother for staff who were efficient and helpful. Entertainment no 2 nights we were here "ok" not our scene but we just sat in the comfortable bar chatting with other residents. Beautiful scenery even with the odd snow flurry. Definitely would come here again. Well done Shearings!
