For a break away discovering the very essence of North Wales - a region renowned for its beautiful coastline, Celtic heritage and the grandeur of Snowdonia - you couldn't be better placed than in Llandudno, at the Marine Hotel. Built in the imposing Victorian style of the resort's seafront, this handsome hotel is one to be proud of. Not only does it offer comfortable furnishings, friendly service and a swimming pool perfect for active moments, but also an ideal setting in the centre of the promenade, just over the road from North Shore. Lazy days can be spent on the beach or pier, shopping for souvenirs, visiting the Alice in Wonderland Centre or taking a tram ride up the Great Orme, while numerous sporting pursuits are on offer locally too.
The hotel's car parks, which have limited space are located behind the building. Alternatively street parking is usually available nearby.

Wonderful Weekend
Because of bad weather, we couldn't get to the hotel we booked in Whitby and were offered the Marine Hotel in Llandudno instead. How lucky for us! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food delicious. The entertainment was very enjoyable. Altogether a fantastic weekend.

Shearings Does Listen!
Just returned from another very enjoyable and comfortable weekend self-drive, last time I said the only gripe was expensive drinks. Well, this time, the hotel put on a totally free bar on the Saturday night! Excellent idea! We have been previously when a very nice Sunday lunch was included without cost as well. Nice little surprises which went down very well. Thanks Shearings, we’ll be back!

Shearings Break
Have just returned from Marine with Shearings. Very enjoyable, food not as good as last year at the Beresford Newquay, but adequate. Entertainment was brilliant as was the weather. The only complaint we have is the room, very antiquated no arm chair and a dreadful view of the back of people’s houses, also the bathroom or rather the wash room, which measured 7'6inx2'6in. You could sit on the toilet and wash at the same time not good at all. We made do and for what we paid I suppose it was ok.

We Just Enjoy Staying Here
My Wife and I stay at the Marine Hotel around 3/4 times a year. Why? We stay here mainly because of the lovely friendly staff right from when one arrives at reception right through to the very nice restaurant team serving the excellent variety and quality of food we always have. We do have our 'moans' though. Little Free view TV, no Wi-Fi and no Real Ale. How about some decent bottled bitter then Mr. Manager? Spitfire? Ruddles? We are already booked for 1st July 2011 week end. That says it all!

Shearings Break
Another enjoyable holiday with Shearings from start to finish. Hotel and staff were very helpful and friendly, nothing too much trouble. The food was adequate and well presented with a good choice. The entertainment was excellent throughout also the trips out. This was the first time my wife had to use a wheelie walker which was no problem and I would like to thank our driver Eric who the moment we stopped the walker appeared It made the holiday very enjoyable Thank you Shearings.
